Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your booking and stay at Kendall's Point Lodge on Gunn Lake near Minaki, Ontario. By making an inquiry, placing a deposit, or staying with us, you agree to these terms along with our Cancellation Policy, House Rules, Payment Terms, and Liability & Safety Acknowledgement. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION A reservation request is not confirmed until we have received the required deposit or confirmed your booking in writing. The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for their entire party and for ensuring everyone follows these terms. RATES, FEES, AND PAYMENT All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include the nightly rate plus any applicable cleaning fee and taxes shown at the time of booking. A deposit is due to secure your dates, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival, as set out in our Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy. OCCUPANCY AND USE The maximum number of guests is limited to the occupancy listed for each unit and may not be exceeded without our written approval. The property is for quiet, residential vacation use only. It may not be used for commercial events, parties, or any unlawful purpose without prior written consent. HOUSE RULES AND CONDUCT Guests agree to follow the House Rules, respect the property and its neighbours, and care for this natural setting. We reserve the right to end a stay without refund if guests materially breach these terms, exceed occupancy, cause damage, or create a safety or nuisance concern. CARE OF THE PROPERTY AND DAMAGE Please treat the cabins, dock, watercraft, and grounds with care. You are responsible for any loss or damage beyond normal wear that occurs during your stay, and you agree to report any damage or maintenance issue to us promptly. ACCESS AND CHECK-IN Kendall's Point is accessible by boat only. Most guests launch from the Minaki Marina or another public launch on Gunn Lake; the hosts can arrange boating to and from the point once your stay is confirmed. The hosts will meet you once on arrival to review access, safety, and orientation. Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed before your stay. ASSUMPTION OF RISK A stay at a remote lakefront property carries inherent risks. By booking, you and your party accept the Liability & Safety Acknowledgement and assume responsibility for your own safety. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kendall's Point Lodge and its owners are not liable for personal injury, illness, or loss of or damage to personal property during your stay, except where caused by our gross negligence. Our total liability for any reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that reservation. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the current version.
