Our story

About Kendall's Point Cottages

Kendall's Point Cottages is a private, boat-access lakefront retreat on quiet Gunn Lake in Minaki, Ontario. This site is the lodge's own booking and discovery platform — it lets guests browse the cabins, view photo galleries, check live availability, and reserve their stay directly with the hosts, all in one place. No middlemen, no crowded listing sites: just a simple, honest way to plan a getaway on the water.

The platform is built for travelers looking for a genuine northern-lakes escape — families and friend groups who want cabin comfort, dock days, and campfire nights with the seclusion that only a boat-access point can offer. Guests launch from the Minaki Marina, and the hosts arrange boating to and from Kendall's Point. Beyond booking, it's a place to explore the area: a Gunn Lake guide, FAQ, and a collection of stories about the lake, the fishing, and the surrounding wilderness help guests arrive knowing exactly what to expect.

Kendall's Point Cottages is owned and run by the Stouffer family, who host every stay personally and supply the photography you see throughout the site. They built this platform so guests can connect with them directly, ask questions before they book, and feel at home long before they reach the dock. Whether you're planning a fishing trip, a family reunion, or a quiet week off the grid, the hosts are here to help you plan it.
